Week 393, Saturday 25^th until Friday 31^st December 2021.

There are now Seven weeks left of this ramble.

This is the Crimbo blog, and that means I write very little and mainly post pictures.  Crimbo day was spent with family many I had not seen pretty much all this year, it really was lovely to meet up once again.  It was a day of relaxing, playing games and of course my favourite activity eating.  I mentioned in a previously blog that I was responsible for bringing Cheese and associated foods to the table. Blowing my own trumpet (I think I am allowed to do this once a year) I think I did very well, there was so much left over that everyone went home with something from the selection I bought.  Cheese really was the gift of 2021 that kept giving.

The rest of the week was spent in East London basically doing nothing which is what Crimbo is all about!  There were a couple of occasions when I actually had to get out of my PJ’s putting on proper clothes to visit North and Central London to see live theatre.  Both shows “A Crimbo Carol” starring Mark Gatiss and Nicholas Farrell and “The Shark Is Broken” a behind the scenes drama about the making of the classic 1975 film Jaws were just great.  Live Theatre always gives me a thrill, I love to sit in a dark room and watch people doing what they do best in front of me on stage.  Also I like to imagine what my life might have been like if I had got to be an actor or worked professionally back stage (I did work as an Assistant Stage Manager and an Actual SM at a very prestigious “amateur” Theatre in West London during the late 80s early 90s for a number of show).
