Misfits Mid-Life Crisis Adventures in Tier 4 (East London).

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Week 341 Saturday 26th December 2020 until Friday 1stJanuary 2021.

Happy New Year and Happy Bday Tim (my Brother-in-law).

Phew, we made it, 2020 is over!  It’s a year that none of us will forget in a hurry.  This is technically the first blog of 2021, but because I have been over exercising my arm and jaw muscles (eating and drinking) this week, I really haven’t got much to say.  So what follows is the traditional misfitsmidlifecrisis.com (I don’t think in 340 weeks, I have ever said the name of this blog in the actual ramble) round up.

The total number of views in 2020 was 2712 which is 176 more than in 2019.  As mentioned last week, I did put out a couple of S.O.S’s due to worrying that the number of views wouldn’t beat the previous year for the first time.  Thank you once again to everyone who has read, or just looked at the/a pictures over the last year.

During the year this blog was viewed from in 42 (in 2019 it was 41) countries.  In the picture you can see all the countries in order from the largest number of views to the fewest.  As you can see I am popular I’m China, sadly it’s probably some form of net bot.  But a view is a view; it’s on the list, so it counts.

At the moment I intend on continuing to publish a new blog every week (normally on a Friday).  But as you may have noticed, because of homeworking and general lockdowns (since March last year) I might not have a huge amount to say, and worry I am repeating myself (and worry I am repeating myself, repeating myself…!).  If I don’t have anything to say then I might just published a few short paragraphs of things I may have heard, plus of course the usual lists at the end (somethings don’t change, even during a pandemic).  Fingers crossed every week you will see something from me (whether you like it or not.  That sounds like a threat, oops).

Hopefully I will post more next week.  Until then, let me wish you Happy New Year again.

And Now For Something Completely Different……

I have found another use for face masks (I will be excepting sponsorship deals, please contact my agent who is situated in the recycling skip behind the shut shops down the road). While in a huge supermarket I realised I was singing (softly) and miming to the music being played.  Its official, face masks are perfect for situations like that.  You or I can continue to sing away even if the lyrics are not known.

A picture i took a few days ago. I love looking up at night.

Something else which crossed my mind, but have not tried.  A facemask is the perfect place to insert for instance a veggie pie/pasty (or food of your choice) so that it can be munched on while out and about.  Think of this as a human version of a horse’s nose bag.  Could this idea be the one that makes me squillions of quid’s?

Behind the scenes of the above shoot.

And Finally for 2020……

My friend said, “I’ll get my little stick out, rub the ends and then lay it down”.  I think she was talking about rubbing away corrosion in an old battery operated toy (not that kind of toy, you mucky lot).

Cheers.

In the early hours on the New Year’s Day, my phone rang (luckily I was up, watching rubbish) it was a call from Mozzibeak.  A friend who I worked with when I was there could be heard talking to friends having a great time.  It made me smile, laugh, but also sad that I was not over there.  Hopefully later in 2021 I will return.

I dont know if you knew i was a Pooh fan.
