HAPPY CRIMBUM
Week 340 Saturday 19th until Friday 25thDecember 2020.

Happy Crimbum wherever you are in the world.

This blog, week 340 is the last one of 2020. Since March because of working from home, I haven’t had a huge amount to say as you may know from reading this shiz, but have still produced something for you to read weekly. I’m not competitive, except with this ramble because I always hope that I can beat the previous year’s stats. Early this week I needed 206 views to beat 2019s total of 2536. Afterwards I posted a couple S.O.S messages asking if anyone had a couple of minutes spare to help massage my fragile ego, could they have a look and came to the rescue of the stat. At the time of writing this small unimportant blog has had 2646 views during 2020, that’s 110 above last year’s total (A huge special thanks must be given to the lovely Eileen Rowson for all her help). The final total will be announced in next week’s ramble, the first of 2021.

Thank you to everyone for reading this badly worded, grammatically incorrect mess. Everyone has far more important things to be doing (especially these days) so the fact that you have looked at this does make me feel it’s worthwhile. I have been thinking that from January I might reduce the frequency from weekly to twice monthly. My worry is that the lists at the end would be even longer than they already are. Unless I just publish the lists, at least that’s content I wouldn’t don’t need to think or stress about. Decisions will be made over the next couple of weeks.

I have always said that the reason this blog exists is so that my beautiful niece and 3 handsome nephews will one day be able to read about what there mad old aunty got up to while they were young. Until they are old enough to have a look, I hope you my audience will continue to enjoy what I have to say.

I really hope that you had a good Crimbum in these difficult times, and I do wish you a happy new year.
And Finally……

Speaking to Leo a 10 year old fellow geek/nerd (his words) from Harare, who was visiting Tofo in Mozambique. Such a lovely surprise to get a call from my friend Jenny, who thought Leo should speak to a very old geek.

Cut my friends hair. Ok, it was more of a trim, I but I took the responsibility very seriously.
“The tips quite veiny”, my friend said this as she opened a packet of blue stilton. I did of course snigger like a naughty schoolchild at the back of the class.
